'Arrow Video Releases 4K Box Set of the Classic Film 'Carrie''

Stephen King, the renowned horror author, has been terrifying audiences for over 50 years. One of his earliest adaptations, Carrie, directed by Brian De Palma, is considered by many horror enthusiasts to be one of the scariest films ever made. Now, Arrow Video is releasing a new 4K edition of Carrie.

This latest version includes all the special features from the previous Scream Factory release. It offers multiple featurettes with De Palma, screenwriter Lawrence D. Cohen, and cast members such as Sissy Spacek and Piper Laurie. The limited edition box set comes with a reversible sleeve showcasing both the original poster artwork and new artwork by Laz Marquez. The new artwork captures the chilling moment from the film when Carrie, drenched in pig's blood, stares hauntingly at her doomed prom victims. The fiery red hues contrast beautifully with Carrie’s eerie silhouette, piercing into the depths of your soul with her lifeless eyes. Additionally, the set includes a 40-page perfect bound book with contributions from Neil Mitchell and an archive interview with De Palma. Furthermore, there’s a fold-out double-sided poster featuring the same artwork as the slipcover and six double-sided collector’s postcards.

Carrie releases on 4K January 22, 2024. You can pre-order it now on Arrow's website. This is a UK release, but all 4K discs are region free.
