The 1.03.1 update for Armored Core 6 is now available on PC and consoles, just two weeks after the game's previous update.

The update brings stat adjustments to weapons, frame modules, and inner parts, along with balancing changes for Attitude Recovery and Assault Boost. Additionally, it introduces a greater number of stat increases while also resolving gameplay-affecting bugs.

FromSoftware has confirmed that the 1.03.1 update for Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon is now available for download on both PC and consoles, starting from October 5. This new patch follows closely on the heels of the game's previous update, version 1.03. Armored Core 6, which was originally released in late August, received high praise and commendation from fans of the series. Despite the positive reception, FromSoftware has continued to actively improve the game by releasing updates that address balance issues and fix bugs. The 1.03.1 patch is the fourth update released thus far.

The update includes adjustments to a total of 34 weapon units, 57 frame modules, and 16 inner parts in Armored Core 6. Additionally, two expansions were revised: Pulse Protection now has an increased Resilience rating, while Terminal Armor has a Duration buff. The Attitude Recovery of all ACs in the game has been rebalanced, making lighter mechs lose Strain more quickly and slightly reducing the dissipation rate on heavier ACs. Larger mechs have also been affected by a small nerf to Assault Boost, which will no longer provide them with a significant increase in top speed.

In the 1.03.1 update, Assault Boost has been curbed further in terms of its Impact reduction effect duration and its rate of Impact accumulation from enemy collisions. Ten in-game boosters have received increases in Upward Thrust, while three fire control systems have had their Close-Range Assist values nerfed. Additionally, three generators in Armored Core 6 have seemingly received balanced boosts to their Energy Capacity and Supply Recovery, among other stats.

In terms of overall changes, the 1.03.1 update for Armored Core 6 brings more enhancements than reductions, with 90 stat increases and only 37 decreases. Additionally, this latest version of the game addresses several bugs, including a frustrating issue where certain weapons would mistakenly fire instead of reloading a full magazine.

Similar to previous patches, this update is classified as an Armored Core 6 regulation update, indicating its necessity for online play. The PC version of the game will update automatically, while console players who cannot access multiplayer should check if their systems are set to offline mode, which prevents automatic downloading of the patch files.

GRENADE "DF-GR-07 GOU-CHEN" has been enhanced with an increase in the total rounds and projectile speed, as well as a decrease in reload time. The rounds now explode once they reach their effective range, regardless of whether they make contact.

GRENADE "DIZZY" has also undergone improvements, including an increase in total rounds and projectile speed, along with a decrease in reload time. The effective range has been adjusted, and now the rounds explode upon reaching this range, regardless of contact.
