Armored Core 6 Unleashes Epic Boss Battles: Unveiling Sensational Patch Notes!

Patch 102 for Armored Core VI takes on its toughest adversaries, Balteus, the Sea Spider, and IB-01: CEL240, delivering a much-needed power reduction This update also includes crucial balance adjustments and bug fixes Get ready for a more thrilling and fair gameplay experience!

Armored Core VI's latest update, Patch 1.02, not only enhances several lesser-used weapons but also brings modifications to the movesets of three notorious bosses in the game.

AAP07: Balteus, the boss of chapter 1, IA-13: Sea Spider, the boss of chapter 2, and IB-01: CEL240, the boss of chapter 4, have all undergone adjustments to specific attacks. The patch notes do not provide detailed information on the changes, leaving players to explore and uncover the alterations for themselves, in line with From Software's signature style.

Balteus and IB-01: CEL240, specifically CEL240, have gained a significant reputation as two of the toughest bosses in Armored Core VI. Balteus presents a real challenge for new players, forcing them to modify their AC design and tactics to secure victory. On the other hand, despite not being the final boss, IB-01: CEL240 feels like one. This high-speed mech delivers devastating attacks that can easily annihilate players if they make a mistake. Similar to Malenia in Elden Ring (which From Software also had to adjust for reduced difficulty), IB-01: CEL240 also has a challenging second phase, accompanied by a completely new HP bar.

Patch 1.02 brings additional adjustments that can aid early-game players in overcoming the odds. Various weapon balance buffs have been implemented for weapons like the RF-024 TURNER and the MG-014 LUDLOW, among others. These changes include increased attack power, reduced reload times, and enhanced projectile speeds. According to the patch notes, these modifications aim to "provide players with more options for building diverse ACs during the early and mid-game."
