Carly Reeves seems to be recognized for more than just being related to Tom Hanks.
"After watching the season 2 premiere of Claim to Fame, Ariana Madix's friend Logan Cochran tweeted on June 29th, 'Y'all, I was thinking, this girl looks extremely familiar, but I couldn't believe she would be Tom Hanks' niece. Until I remembered that she used to be a manager at SUR!'"
Lisa Vanderpump opened SUR, an acronym for Sexy Unique Restaurant, in May 2005. During her time on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, the 62-year-old reality TV star created her own spinoff called Vanderpump Rules to document her life in the restaurant industry. Ariana, aged 38, joined the Bravo cast in season 2 after being hired as a bartender alongside her former boyfriend Tom Sandoval and Jax Taylor. Other cast members and past employees of Vanderpump's SUR, including Scheana Shay, Katie Maloney, Stassi Schroeder, Raquel Leviss, and Kristen Doute, have also worked as servers at the restaurant.
On the other hand, Carly has not confirmed the claims stating that she worked as a manager at the restaurant. However, she is gaining attention for her appearance on ABC's celebrity guessing game Claim to Fame, which premiered earlier this month.

Content: During the reality TV competition, hosted by Kevin Jonas and his youngest brother, Franklin Jonas, a team of 12 participants engage in solving clues and riddles to determine the fellow contestants' connections with different celebrities. In the first season of Claim to Fame, family members of renowned personalities such as Simone Biles, Jason Aldean, and Keke Palmer had made appearances.
Despite Carly, aged 39, concealing her true identity, Hugo successfully identified her uncle, Tom, aged 66, by the end of the initial episode. Upon this revelation, Carly experienced a complete breakdown.
"These clues were incredibly evident!" she exclaimed, hastily packing her belongings. "A bench, of all things, featured prominently in the poster for Forrest Gump? Are you serious? Why a bench? There isn't a bench in any other movie. Even Gabriel, who's not exactly brilliant, figured that out!"
Carly grumbled, "I didn't even get a chance to participate in any challenges! This isn't fair. I should have received more camera time. My airtime should have been longer!"
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the ABC alum admitted that she had overreacted to her elimination on the show. She expressed her anger and disappointment at not being able to play as long as the other contestants, despite not having anyone specific to blame. As her emotions escalated, she even made the lighthearted comment about wanting more camera time. She also shared that her appearance on Claim to Fame had excited her, and she believed her performance would not embarrass her Big star partner. She mentioned that he had asked if she had made money, and when she confirmed, he expressed happiness for her.
Claim to Fame airs Mondays on ABC at 8 p.m. ET.
