Ariana Greenblatt Gets Starstruck Meeting 'Love' Barry Keoghan at the Golden Globes (Exclusive)

Ariana Greenblatt, 16, confessed during a walk down the Golden Globes red carpet on Sunday, January 7 that she is just like us and is obsessed with Barry Keoghan, saying, "Barry’s walking right next to me, the love of my life."

After catching a glimpse of Saltburn star 31, she let out a scream and quickly walked away.

At The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California, Greenblatt, 16, made an appearance at Sunday's award ceremony to show her support for the movie Barbie. The teen portrayed Sasha in the film, which received nine Golden Globe nominations and won two awards.

Keoghan, on the other hand, made an appearance at the awards ceremony to show his support for Saltburn. The actor was vying for the title of Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama but was defeated by fellow Irishman Cillian Murphy, who took home the award for his role as J. Robert Oppenheimer in Oppenheimer.

Keoghan remained the focus of attention at the red carpet and inside the venue, despite his loss. During the opening monologue, Golden Globes host Jo Koy made an NSFW joke about Keoghan's role in Saltburn, prompting laughter from the audience.

Keoghan stars as Oliver Quick, a University of Oxford student who becomes infatuated with wealthy classmate Felix Catton (Jacob Elordi) in the town of Saltburn. When Felix invites Oliver to his opulent mansion, tensions rise and secrets are revealed. The film also features Rosamund Pike, Richard E. Grant, Alison Oliver, Archie Madekwe, and Carey Mulligan.

Keoghan's performance has been lauded, but Saltburn has garnered attention for its shocking scenes, including a climactic moment where Oliver, played by Keoghan, dances naked to Sophie Ellis-Bextor’s “Murder on the Dancefloor” after dealing with the entire Catton family.

At another location in Saltburn, Felix, played by Elordi, engages in self-pleasure during his nightly bath. Oliver, portrayed by Keoghan, overhears him in the bathroom and patiently waits for him to conclude before drinking the remaining bathwater.

Candles claiming to smell like “Jacob Elordi’s bathwater” have since become available for sale on Etsy — and Keoghan has definitely heard about them.

“I already have 10 of them,” Keoghan joked days before the Golden Globes during an interview with Variety. “They’re all burning at my house right now.”
