Is there a possibility of a romantic relationship forming on season 18 of So You Think You Can Dance? Anthony Curley and Dakayla Wilson hinted that they might have feelings for each other beyond friendship in the episode that aired on Monday, April 22, on Fox.

Dakayla confessed to her costars Madison Alvarado and Mariyah Hawkins that she has a little crush on Anthony. She mentioned that she likes how Anthony is a tall, strong guy who can pick her up and playfully toss her in the air.

In response, Anthony revealed that he thinks Dakayla is cute, causing some of his costars to squeal in excitement.

Elsewhere in the episode, Anthony and Dakayla, both 18, were paired up during a group dance. Their team member Jaylin Sanders pointed out how much chemistry the twosome had.

Jaylin, 20, shared his thoughts with the cameras during rehearsal. He mentioned that even though he didn't give the tea, he felt like Anthony and Dakayla were getting a little close. Jaylin added, "But that's none of my business."

During Monday’s episode, both Anthony and Dakayla were up for elimination, along with Roman Nevinchanyi and Braylon Browner. Despite their show-stopping performances during their solos, Anthony and Dakayla made it to the top six, while Roman, 26, and Braylon, 18, were eliminated.

It's uncertain whether Anthony and Dakayla's "baby" crushes will turn into something more serious, but they are not the first couple to find love on SYTYCD. Koko Iwasaki and Kiki Nyemchek fell in love during season 14 of the show in 2017 and later announced their engagement in November 2022.

Iwasaki, 26, expressed her love for her fiancé on Instagram this month. She shared how grateful she is for his love, patience, care, and ability to be there for her through all emotions. She feels lucky and happy to have chosen each other and is excited for their upcoming wedding. She thanked him for loving her and allowing her soul to be free, declaring him as her soulmate. She feels more certain than ever that he is the one for her and expressed her eternal love for him.

Allison Holker and Stephen “tWitch” Boss met during season 7 of SYTYCD in 2010. They got married in 2013 and have two children, son Maddox (8) and daughter Zaia (4). Holker also has an older daughter, Weslie (15), from a previous relationship.

During the season 18 premiere of SYTYCD last month, Holker paid tribute to Boss, who tragically passed away by suicide at the age of 40 in December 2022.

During the first round of auditions, she expressed that Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss will always be remembered as an icon and a legend for being the best at what he did. Not only that, but he also inspired everyone around him to be their best. Even now, he continues to do so for her, her children, and all of us. The best way to honor him is by living our lives to the fullest, just like he would want us to.
