The inaugural season of Squid Game: The Challenge is coming to a close, but if you're interested in participating in the reality series next time, here's how you can apply today.
If you watched the original Squid Game in 2021, a few thoughts likely crossed your mind: "Oh my goodness!" when the first person was eliminated in Red Light Green Light, "Oh my!" when the old man was eliminated after Marbles, and most importantly, "I wonder if I could come out on top."
The success of MrBeast’s own version of the games, along with the hypothetical thought that followed, prompted Netflix to turn the phenomenon into the largest reality TV show ever. The show boasts a staggering prize fund of $4.56 million. In the past week, hundreds of players have fallen victim to the games and lost their shot at becoming millionaires. But perhaps you might not be so unlucky.
Squid Game: The Challenge application explained
Netflix has already opened its application process for the next season of Squid Game: The Challenge. You can sign up here.
While Season 2 has not been confirmed, you can still complete the relevant paperwork. Doing so early may increase your chances of being selected. On the landing page, you can choose between US, UK, or global casting. After choosing, you will need to fill out a short form with details such as your name, date of birth, and other necessary disclaimers.
Nevertheless, the crucial part is this: you must submit a one-minute video explaining “who you are, your desire to participate in Squid Game: The Challenge, your strategy, and how you would use the substantial $4.56 million cash prize if you emerged victorious.”
