Respawn Entertainment has just unveiled the gameplay trailer for Apex Legends Season 19: Ignite, promising a season that will revolutionize the game. Packed with exciting additions such as cross-progression, a new legend equipped with Titan-powered abilities, and an extensive map renovation, Season 19 is brimming with fresh content for players to discover.
The gameplay trailer also provides a detailed preview of the skillset of the new legend, Conduit. As hinted in the Season 19 launch trailer, Conduit is a Support legend with the ability to repair shields and a useful passive speed boost. Here are her abilities:
Passive: Savior's Speed
When dashing towards a fellow squad member who is beyond the tactical range, Conduit experiences a momentary increase in speed.
Tactical: Radiant Transfer
Conduit possesses the ability to transmit a surge of defensive energy to a nearby ally, effectively restoring the shields of both individuals for a limited duration. Although temporary, this capability proves exceptionally valuable during critical moments of need.
Ultimate: Energy Barricade
Conduit employs an assortment of shield-jamming devices that impair adversaries and restrict their mobility.
As a legend specializing in support, Conduit possesses two additional passive abilities. Her first ability enables her to access the concealed compartment within Extended Supply Bins. Opening this compartment grants Conduit and her teammates access to four extra healing items. The second exclusive support ability empowers her to fabricate banner cards for fallen squadmates, regardless of whether the banners have expired and no one has managed to retrieve them from the death boxes.
Content can be rewritten as follows:
In a firefight involving multiple squads, Conduit's ability comes in handy when a squadmate gets taken down. Instead of risking her own safety to retrieve the banner card, Conduit can wait for the respawn timer to expire and then head to a Replicator to craft a banner card. This card can be used at any nearby Respawn Beacon.
Additionally, the trailer showcased the redesigned Storm Point map, offering players a closer look. The map now includes new points of interest (POIs) and boasts a completely different visual aesthetic. The previously dominant storm clouds have cleared, making way for a sky filled with cotton candy-colored clouds and vibrant rainbows. Of course, the Ignite battle pass is also introduced in the gameplay trailer, featuring a range of brightly colored cosmetics that players can unlock with a purchase.
