Santino, who is 40 years old, recounted to Travis Kelce the time he convinced Taylor Swift that she had caused a boat fire by setting off a firework at a wedding party.
Santino told Kelce during a podcast episode on Wednesday, April 24, that although Kelce could ask for the truth, his girlfriend had actually bought the chaotic situation. He explained, "I know she bought it because it was chaotic. I mean, the boat was on fire."
Kelce seemed to take the story lightly, laughing at his girlfriend's expense as Santino described the 2012 episode of MTV's prank show. The episode began with host Justin Bieber inviting Swift to his Malibu home to see his new recording studio and set off fireworks on the beach.
Santino shared that Taylor was hesitant about setting off the fireworks. He mentioned, "I wrote this bit...and I said if she doesn't want to [set off the fireworks], we have to make it so it's like a button or a thing, where it's like an accidental, easy, 'Did you press this?' or whatever."

The show set up a rig with fake buttons that Taylor Swift lightly touched while joking around. This gave Punk'd the perfect opportunity to shoot fireworks at a boat conveniently set up offshore. The boat was hosting a fake wedding party, with Santino posing as the groom.
When the boat caught fire, the show staged an evacuation with Santino, his fake bride and a pastor coming to shore on a dinghy.

Santino remembered the time when they told Taylor Swift, "You ruined our wedding!" His wife, Anne Gregory, even thought it was a sign that they shouldn't get married. But Taylor disagreed, saying she wasn't sure about that. It was a memorable moment.
