In late 2023, Team Ninja and Koei Tecmo's historical fantasy soulslike game, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, will have a crossover with Lies of P and Nioh. As part of the game's monthly content updates, the Lies of P and Nioh content will be introduced in September and December. Wo Long was released by Team Ninja in March and takes place during the collapse of the Han Dynasty in second-century China. Players are tasked with rescuing the dragon god Yinglong from the Taoist sorcerer Yu Ji. Similar to Team Ninja's Nioh series, Wo Long combines real historical settings and characters with elements of mythology, folklore, and fantasy. Despite facing some technical issues at launch, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty has received mostly positive reviews, with PC and Xbox Series X/S scores of 79 on Metacritic and a score of 81 on PS5.
Team Ninja recently unveiled their development roadmap for Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, outlining their plans for the second half of 2023. To enhance the game's experience, they will be releasing two paid DLCs, namely "Conqueror of Jiangdong" and "Upheaval in Jinxiang," scheduled for September and December respectively. In addition, players can look forward to five free updates that will introduce exciting balance changes and fresh content. Notably, the highly anticipated Wo Long's Lies of P collaboration will also be launched in September, coinciding with the game's official release. As an added treat, fans can brace themselves for the Nioh crossover, set to make its appearance in November.
Previously, Wo Long collaborated with Naraka: Bladepoint, a free-to-play battle royale game by NetEase, to offer exclusive Wo Long-themed content to Naraka players. However, Hidehiko Nakajima, the director of Wo Long, stated that the upcoming crossovers will be different from the previous collaboration. While he did not provide specific details, Nakajima mentioned that Team Ninja is dedicated to creating content that fans of Nioh and Lies of P will appreciate.
Additionally, other free content will include the release of Boss Rush Part 2, and Wo Long will receive new Wizardry Spells in September and December. On the other hand, the paid DLC will introduce fresh story content, new weapon types, missions, difficulty levels, enemies, end-game content, and more.

The first downloadable content (DLC) for Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, titled "Battle of Zhongyuan," portrays the rise of the warlord Cao Cao during the early years of China's Three Kingdoms era. The game's developers, Team Ninja and Koei Tecmo, have not yet provided many details about the two upcoming expansions. However, "Conqueror of Jiangdong" likely focuses on the warlord Sun Ce, who conquered the region in the 190s. Lastly, "Upheaval in Jinxiang" might be referencing the Xincheng Rebellion in 227, a significant event during the early Three Kingdoms period.
Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty can be played on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S platforms.
