She mentions that on this beautiful autumn day, she took him out for a drive. Ali, a Tony winner, and her husband, David Perlow, happily welcomed their son in November 2022.

"Can you believe they're handing out licenses to kids nowadays?" Stroker chuckles, jesting about her son's impressive driving skills in his vibrant red and yellow toy car. "He's got better driving skills than I do!"

On this specific day in the author's life, Stroker embarked on a journey to New York City to promote her latest children's book, Cut Loose!, a captivating sequel to her earlier 2021 masterpiece, The Chance to Fly.

A typical morning in Ali Stroker’s life involves spending some quality playtime with her 12-month-old son, Jesse.

"He's all set to hit the road, [so] we decided to go for a spin on this stunning autumn day," reveals Stroker, 36, exclusively in the latest edition of We. The renowned Tony award-winning actress and her spouse, David Perlow, celebrated the arrival of their son in November 2022.

"Who would have thought they were granting licenses to youngsters nowadays?" chuckles Stroker, commenting on her son's prowess in maneuvering his little red and yellow toy vehicle. "He's a more skilled driver than I am!"

Stroker shared her feelings of nervousness and excitement as she headed into New York City to promote her new children's book Cut Loose!, a sequel to her 2021 novel The Chance to Fly. Stroker expressed her anticipation to speak about the book that she and co-writer Stacy Davidowitz had put in a lot of effort.

Stroker starts her day by promoting Cut Loose!. "I had the opportunity to speak with various radio hosts from different parts of the country," shares the Echoes celebrity with Us. "Interacting with them and hearing their enthusiasm was truly incredible."

Following breakfast with Jesse, the mother-son duo hit the road for an afternoon walk.
