Alexander Ludwig and wife Lauren Ludwig are expanding their family.
Alexander, 31, and Lauren, 32, announced the exciting news in a joint Instagram post on Thursday, March 14.
Exciting news! Baby Ludwig is on the way, expected to arrive in June 2024. Lauren proudly flaunted her baby bump in a sweet photo, with Alexander holding their daughter Leni, born in April last year.
Upon sharing their pregnancy announcement, fans and friends flooded the comments section with kind words for the couple.
Actor Chris Boudreaux expressed his congratulations and well wishes to the couple, emphasizing the importance of cherishing every moment with their new addition. Another social media user also shared their excitement for the arrival of another Ludwig baby for fans to adore.
The couple, who got married in 2021, have been transparent about their experiences and emotions throughout their pregnancy journey.
Lauren shared in their first pregnancy announcement in February 2023 that it has been a challenging journey for her and @alexanderludwig. They experienced three losses before this pregnancy, but each loss helped them learn more about themselves and their relationship. For anyone who has gone through miscarriages, Lauren wants to offer hope that there is light at the end of the journey, and they are not alone.
Even though Leni was originally due in May of the previous year, Lauren shared that their rainbow baby arrived one month early. She also posted the first photo of their baby girl.
Leni James Ludwig surprised everyone by arriving 4 weeks ahead of schedule on April 27, 2023, at 7:24 am. Despite @alexanderludwig being away filming in another state, he managed to make it back just in time. This labor story is definitely one for the books!

Nearly one year before welcoming their firstborn, Lauren penned an emotional message about her and Alexander’s experience with pregnancy loss.
"I debated with myself whether or not to share this, but I believe it's important for us to be open about the truth," she shared on Instagram. "Last week, @alexanderludwig and I experienced our 3rd miscarriage. I felt it was necessary to talk about it because I don't think it should be a taboo topic."
"I want to help others understand that miscarriages are common and nothing to be ashamed of. Going through this experience has shown me that I am not alone. It's a common occurrence that isn't discussed enough. By speaking up, we can support each other and feel less isolated. Sharing information is important, and I want to do more of it. This will always be a part of our journey."
