In Alan Wake 2, players will explore various large regions that are filled with optional tasks and hidden secrets. While not necessary to progress, it is recommended to seek them out as they provide helpful items and resources for surviving in Alan Wake 2. One interesting discovery in the game is nursery rhymes, solving which grants players charms that offer stat boosts and special effects.
In the Return 3: Local Girl chapter, players take on the role of Saga Anderson and find themselves in the dilapidated town of Watery, located on the outskirts of Bright Falls. After speaking with some residents, the main objective is to locate Saga's trailer park keys at the Coffee World Gift Shop in the amusement park area. Along the way, players may also come across another nursery rhyme near the Lighthouse. The following guide will explain where to find it and how to solve it.
How to Solve the Watery Lighthouse Nursery Rhyme Alan Wake 2
Instead of heading to the Kalevalas' workshop, players have the option to continue southward after exploring the amusement park and obtaining the safe code for Alan Wake 2's Coffee World gift shop. Located at the southeastern part of the map, beyond the lighthouse and near the edge overlooking the stormy sea, another one of FBC's rhyme stations can be found.
Collect The Mother, Trickster, and Wise Elder Dolls
To tackle this challenge, players must first acquire a set of fresh wooden dolls to supplement their existing collection. Positioned on the staircase of the lighthouse, adjacent to the entrance, await the mother, trickster, and wise elder dolls.
To successfully solve this rhyme, players must collect all three dolls and bring them back to the original location. By deciphering the clues provided in the poem, the correct solution involves placing the wise elder doll on the eye drawing located on the bottom left, and positioning the trickster doll on the top image depicting ocean waves.
Fight the Taken Fisherman
After completing this task, players should remain vigilant for the appearance of a more formidable Taken fisherman who will spawn in close proximity behind them. Upon defeating him, players will observe a series of eerie black footprints leading away from the lighthouse. To proceed, players must descend a set of precarious stairs and then head in a northerly direction, returning to the main road.
Follow the path as it winds eastward toward downtown Watery, the very same location where Saga encountered the Kalevala brothers at the beginning of the chapter. Players should make a swift southward turn into a secluded area near the waterline.
Upon reaching the aforementioned location, players will discover a vast expanse of water, with several uneven rocks partially submerged. Perched atop one of these rocks, near the water's edge, lies a lighthouse charm specifically designed for Saga.
This lighthouse charm will grant an increase to the max health restored in safe havens, quite a boon for players who need to recharge in one of Alan Wake 2's save rooms.
Once players have obtained the lighthouse charm, they can proceed to the next task where they may need further assistance in locating the code that unlocks the door of the Kalevala Knights Workshop.
The highly anticipated sequel, Alan Wake 2, is set to be released on October 27, 2023. Developed by Remedy Entertainment and published by Epic Games, this survival horror game will be available on various platforms including PC, PS5, Xbox Series S, and Xbox Series X.
