Shemar Moore’s heartthrob status was on display as he showed off his abs and shared a kiss with a fan during a memorable appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show.

During his sit-down with host Jennifer Hudson on Wednesday, February 28, the 53-year-old Criminal Minds alum was acknowledged for having fans of all ages.

Hudson then shared a heartwarming video of a grandmother receiving a blanket adorned with Moore's face for Christmas, causing her to express her joy uncontrollably.

Reacting to the clip, Moore reflected on his 30-year career in the industry, noting how his daughters are growing up but continue to show resilience. Moore's television presence dates back to his role as Malcolm Winters in The Young and the Restless from 1994 to 2005, followed by his portrayal of Derek Morgan on Criminal Minds from 2005 to 2016.

Taking it a step further, he pulled up his shirt, giving the screaming audience a view of his washboard abs. 

“This is for all my grannies out there!” he declared.

Hudson then escorted Moore to the audience, where he introduced him to some of his biggest fans. The first fan he pointed out was Gigi, who received a plush Moore-themed pillow as a gift. However, the highlight of the moment was when Moore met Dina. She excitedly ran down the steps to embrace Moore with a tight hug, playfully saying, “You’re going home with me.”

In response, Moore humorously instructed her, “Do this,” and puckered his lips. Dina mimicked his actions, and Moore surprised her with a kiss on the lips, leaving her stunned and speechless.

Hudson fanned Dina off and inquired about her well-being. Coming down from cloud nine, Dina chuckled and remarked, “My husband’s gonna see this.”

“Just make sure he doesn’t find out where I live,” Moore quipped. “I save my fights for TV.”

Asked what her husband would think about the kiss, Dina quipped, “It’s the hall pass.”

Moore also took the opportunity to discuss fatherhood during his appearance. He shared about welcoming his daughter Frankie Meleine with girlfriend Jesiree Dizon in January 2023.

He admitted that he is still adjusting to fatherhood, but he is happily taking cues from Dizon, who has two older children from previous relationships.

"I'm taking it one step at a time to figure everything out," Moore shared. He added, "When I look at little Frankie, I think to myself, 'If all goes well,' I am 53 years old now, so give me 37 years, that will take me to 90. That's a full life for me. It might be too early for her, but believe me, in those 37 years, my daughter will be prepared. She will be confident and self-assured. She will know her worth."

He continued, “So for the rest of whatever life I have left, I want to continue to do my thing and be successful, but I just want to make her proud and give her everything I’ve got.”
