Stephen King has praised Constellation, a new psychological thriller show on Apple TV+, highlighting its strengths. The streaming service, known for sci-fi content, offers a variety of genres. In addition to high-concept shows like Invasion and Foundation, there are also gems like Silo and The Big Door Prize, which showcase the genre on a smaller scale. Severance, another show on Constellation, combines personal and fantastical elements.
Renowned author Stephen King has endorsed Constellation, which features Noomi Rapace as an astronaut with mysterious memory gaps.

King recently shared his thoughts on the Apple TV+ sci-fi thriller on Twitter. Even though he has only watched the first two episodes, he praised them as "just about perfect, nail-biting, and believable."
What To Know About Constellation

The series stars Rapace as Jo, an astronaut who returns to Earth after a space disaster. Upon her comeback, Jo realizes that key parts of her life are missing. The story then unravels, offering an exploration of the darker aspects of human psychology, as well as following Jo's journey to uncover the truth and regain what she has lost.
Alongside Rapace, who is known for her roles in Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows and the Alien franchise prequels, the Constellation cast features Jonathan Banks (Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul), James D’Arcy (Agent Carter, Oppenheimer), Julian Looman (Emily in Paris), William Catlett (The Devil You Know), Barbara Sukowa (Voyager), and newcomers Rosie and Davina Coleman as Alice. The series is created by Peter Harness, known for his work on Doctor Who, with direction from Emmy winner Michelle MacLaren (Breaking Bad) and Oscar nominees Oliver Hirschbiegel (Downfall) and Joseph Cedar (Footnote).
One important thing to remember about King's praise for Constellation is that the first two episodes of the thriller are quite different. The initial reviews mention that the show's beginning is reminiscent of movies like Apollo 13, focusing on space. However, while these episodes do introduce a larger mystery, the space-themed debut may not fully represent the direction the series will ultimately take. Nonetheless, King's early support certainly helps make a strong first impression for the show.
Constellation can be streamed on Apple TV+ every Wednesday, with the finale scheduled for March 27th.
