To gain access to Scrooge's Store, players must first complete the quest "Making Cents of Things." This particular quest belongs to the initial series of Main Story quests found in Disney Dreamlight Valley. To begin the quest, players should speak with Scrooge McDuck in the Plaza.

To fix and reopen the store, players need to interact with the blue "locked" sign situated in front of the store and pay 1000 Star Coins. These Star Coins can be acquired by clearing Night Thorns in the available biomes and by selling crops and other materials at Goofy's Stall. The stall becomes accessible after players find Goofy and finish his quest titled "Fishing Expedition."

How to Upgrade Scrooge’s Store

Once Scrooge's Store is unlocked, players will have the opportunity to peruse and purchase items from a fixed collection on the store's first day of operation. How to Shop at Scrooge’s Store

Purchasing the upgrades to Scrooge's Store early on may incur some costs. Nevertheless, it is crucial to do so in order to unlock new and larger furniture options for players to enhance their homes and exterior decorations. Prioritizing this will be essential, especially for players who are eager to embellish their homes and the rest of the Valley. Additionally, it is essential for players to check daily and participate in DreamSnaps competitions to secure incredible items and earn weekly Moonstones, the game's premium currency.

After unlocking Scrooge's Store, players can visit daily to explore the constantly refreshed selection of items available for purchase. When facing an item, its price is clearly displayed. Additionally, a red dot may or may not be present at the corner of the price tag, indicating whether the player already possesses the item.

The presence of a red dot signifies an uncataloged and unowned item by the player. The absence of a red dot indicates that the player already owns the item. Scrooge will not sell clothing that has already been purchased by the player. Consequently, if the player buys all the available clothing from Scrooge's store, the spaces and mannequins in the store will remain empty.

When Do Scrooge’s Store Items Reset?

The inventory at Scrooge's Store will be refreshed every day at 8 AM UTC (1 AM PST / 4 AM EST). During this reset, the store's stock will be updated with new items. In order for the player to see the changes, they need to leave the store and enter it again if they are inside when the reset occurs.

Ordering From Scrooge’s Catalog

On any given day, the player can only buy one of each item that Scrooge has for sale on the sales floor. If they wish to buy more of the same furniture or decor item, they can talk to Scrooge McDuck and request any previously purchased item. Scrooge's Catalog also includes a default inventory of furniture and clothing items that players can order.

As players order clothing items from the default options, they will eventually disappear from the catalog until the category becomes empty. At that point, no more clothing orders can be placed as duplicate clothing is not available for purchase. However, Scrooge's default stock of furniture is always available for reordering. Crafted furniture cannot be ordered from Scrooge's Furniture Catalog.

When ordering from the Catalog, players can choose and buy a maximum of 25 items per day. The prices remain the same as the initial purchase, and the items are automatically added to the player's Furniture or Clothing collection. To check the quantity of a particular furniture piece they own, players can refer to the Furniture menu and look for the number displayed at the top corner of the furniture's icon, indicating the current quantity possessed. This number represents the total number of that furniture piece that can be placed.
