Two Chainz was in a car crash and had to be taken to the hospital in an ambulance. The 46-year-old rapper shared the news and footage of the wreck on his Instagram Story on Saturday, December 9.
2 Chainz, also known as Tauheed K. Epps, was seated in an ambulance as paramedics prepared to transport him to the emergency room. A black sedan had collided with a barricade on the road's shoulder, resulting in significant damage to the front of the car.
According to a spokesperson for the Florida Highway Patrol, a three-vehicle crash took place in Miami, with 2 Chainz's car being struck by another vehicle. The musician reportedly sustained neck injuries and is currently in stable condition, as confirmed by TMZ on Saturday.
2 Chainz is currently in Miami for the annual Art Basel festival. On Friday, December 8, he attended a party and later went to get dinner at Marketplace 119 in South Beach. In a video on his Instagram Story, 2 Chainz expressed his excitement for the fresh seafood available at the restaurant, stating that he does not eat beef or pork.

2 Chainz gained popularity as part of the hip hop duo Playaz Circle with Earl “Dolla Boy” Conyers, signing with Ludacris’ record label in the early 2000s. He later secured a solo recording contract with Def Jam in 2012 and has received six Grammy nominations for his music. Additionally, he is the owner of multiple restaurants and nail salons.
“My father was involved in selling bricks and also weed. My maternal grandmother was known for running a bootleg operation. When I was young, my mother was actively involved in the real estate business,” he revealed to XXL magazine in March 2022, discussing his early entrepreneurship. “My father never held a traditional job. I have no memory of him rising early in the morning or ever complaining about traffic after coming home late from work. What stands out in my memory is the Cadillacs and the abundance of jewelry that my uncle possessed.”

He explained, "I had an uncle who owned a liquor store and hired all of my uncles. I was subconsciously learning from that experience, figuring out how to be independent. I'm also a hustler, so I knew that relying solely on rap money wasn't enough. I needed to find other sources of income and diversify my portfolio."
2 Chainz has been married to Kesha Ward since 2018 after he proposed at the Met Gala that May. 2 Chainz and Ward, who have been together since 2006, share three kids: Heaven, Harmony and Halo.
