The untold narrative of Michael Jordan's exceptionally secluded and prestigious personal golf course. However, indulgence does come at a cost, as the initiation fees for membership at The Shell Bay Club start at a staggering $1 million.

Residents of the 108 residences and penthouses in the 20-story condominium tower, which offers a stunning view of the course, are entitled to a complimentary social club membership. Additionally, they have the choice to pay an extra fee for access to the golf course. According to a representative from C&R PR agency, the minimum cost for a unit in this development, set to open next year, is $3 million, while the penthouses begin at $11 million.

According to a spokesperson, a golf-only membership is not available. In contrast, Forbes reported that Augusta National Golf Club in Georgia, which hosts The Masters, has initiation fees ranging from $250,000 to $500,000 in 2021.

"Golf presents a glaring supply shortage in the Miami market, making Shell Bay an extraordinary chance to establish the inaugural private course in the region after a quarter-century," stated Alex Witkoff, Co-CEO of the Witkoff Group, in a recent press release.

The racquet club includes hard, clay, and grass courts, along with dedicated courts for pickleball and padel. Additionally, there is a members pavilion that features spas, social rooms, and a pro shop. The residences, which provide butler service, are equipped with floor-to-ceiling windows that offer breathtaking views of the course. In 2025, hospitality group Auberge Resorts Collection will open a boutique resort on the premises for guests.
