In the wide array of secrets found in Remnant 2, the Misty Step dodge modifier stands out as particularly remarkable. Unlike other modifiers that are linked to a single item, players must equip a specific combination of gear to activate it.

Obtaining this intriguing secret is no simple task. It demands a considerable amount of effort and not everyone will be able to acquire all the necessary gear in one playthrough. Below is the comprehensive list of equipment required to unlock this elegant alternative to the dodge roll.

Remnant 2: How to Get the Misty Step Dodge

Players must teleport to Yaesha and hope that they will find the Cathedral of Omens dungeon in one of the open-world zones. The Ring of Omens, which is the first essential item for the Misty Step, can only be obtained from this dungeon.

To obtain the Ring of Omens, players need to enter the Cathedral of Omens during a Blood Moon. They should go to the entrance of the dungeon, enter it, and then exit it. This action will cause the time of day in Yaesha to change, increasing the chances of encountering a Blood Moon as soon as players leave the cathedral.

Once the Blood Moon rises, return to the dungeon and enter the main puzzle chamber. Begin by pulling the lever located in front of the entrance once, and then proceed to pull the lever to the right of the entrance four times. As a result, a door will be unlocked, granting access to a room with three chests. Among these chests, you will find the coveted Ring of Omens.

Next, players will need to find one of the following amulets:

Ravager's Mark

Red Doe Sigil

Talisman of the Sun

Death's Embrace

Full Moon Circlet

The Ravager's Mark is easily obtained by siding with the Ravager and killing the Doe in Yaesha. This amulet is given to players for free, but it is not necessary to use. Players are free to choose the amulet that best suits their build.

Equipping both the Ring of Omens and a chosen amulet will allow players to use the Misty Step dodge as a replacement for their normal dodge roll. With Misty Step, players can cover more distance and evade at a fixed speed, disregarding the impact of armor encumbrance on dodging. However, instead of consuming stamina, using Misty Step will convert 15% of Max HP into Grey Health due to the effect of the Ring of Omens.
