Starfield's Disappointing News: Skyrim Grandma's Absence Confirmed

Beloved Skyrim Grandma Shirley Curry shares heartbreaking news: she won't be gracing the highly anticipated Starfield with her presence upon its release Fans' hopes for her appearance in the game have been shattered

Shirley Curry, also known as the "Skyrim Grandma," has recently revealed that she will not be making an appearance in the highly anticipated game Starfield. Despite her popularity for her delightful Skyrim videos, Curry has confirmed that she will only be featured in The Elder Scrolls 6, much to the disappointment of her fans. With over 1.22 million subscribers on YouTube, Curry's unexpected rise to fame led to Todd Howard, the director of Bethesda Game Studios, promising to create a character inspired by her in the upcoming Elder Scrolls installment, following a fan petition.

The Skyrim Grandma, Shirley, has confirmed that she will not be involved in any way in the upcoming game Starfield, despite her participation in The Elder Scrolls 6. In a Reddit post, she stated that she probably won't even play Starfield at all. In a previous video on her own channel, Shirley expressed that the space setting of Starfield doesn't appeal to her as much as the fantasy setting of The Elder Scrolls world. She mentioned that she will continue to wait for the next installment of The Elder Scrolls instead. In fact, she even urged Todd Howard to hurry up with The Elder Scrolls 6, as she hopes to see the game before she passes away, considering her age of 87.

The speculation about Shirley appearing in Starfield arose when fans noticed a character named "Grandma" in a scene during the Starfield Direct in the Xbox Games Showcase. However, given her recent comments, it is important to note that this should not be considered an official cameo but rather a potential Easter Egg.

Starfield, Bethesda's highly-anticipated sci-fi RPG, is already generating significant sales momentum even before its official release. The game has already climbed to the top of Steam's sales chart, surpassing even the recently launched Street Fighter 6. This tremendous hype can be attributed to Bethesda's absence in the single-player RPG genre since Fallout 4's release in 2015. Furthermore, the company's promises of Starfield being their largest and most ambitious title to date have further fueled fans' excitement and anticipation for what Bethesda has in store. Starfield is set to launch on September 6 for PC and Xbox Series X/S.
